However, if you are using a Mac or MacBook Pro, you can remove your card details from iTunes by using the iTunes app.

Follow the steps below:

  • Launch iTunes
  • Sign in with your Apple credentials
  • Select your Account and then View My Account
  • Enter your Apple credentials and then press Return
  • Afterwards, click on Edit which is at the right of Payment Type and then select None as a Payment Method
  • Then click Done

With this, you will no longer be able to make purchases from iTunes, download iOS or Mac paid-for apps and you won’t be able to make in-app purchases.
