Transsion holdings brand Infinix has released the Hot 7 Pro from its Infinix Mobility division.
The phone is an upgrade to the infinix Hot 6 Pro, and the Hot 6X, and it is a budget-level smartphone meant to entice the youths with large displays and fair features.
Design and Display
Picking up where it left with the Hot 6X and S3X, the Infinix Hot 7 has a notched display, and also the bezels are reduced to create more space for the screen. The notch houses the LED flash, speaker, the selfie camera sensor amongst other sensors.
The Infinix Hot 7 comes with a plastic body and a vertical rear camera set up with dual led flash. The fingerprint sensor is not too far off.
When it comes to the device display, the device has a 6.26 display with 720 x 1500 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
Camera
Infinix also has made it known that the Inifinix Hot 7 cameras are AI assisted. The selfie camera is equipped with an 8MP lens and a LED flash while the rear camera dons a 13MP lens and has dual LED flash supported by a 2MP camera.
Hardware components
The Infinix Hot 7 Pro uses the MediaTek MT6757T Helio P25 chipset. The chipset has 8 cores for smooth operations with a top speed of 2.4GHz. 4 of the 8 cores has 2.4 GHz and the other 4 cores are clocked at 1.6GHz. The GPU is powered by MaliMT880MP2
In the phone memory segment, there are two options depending on taste and cash. You get 3 GB RAM device paired with 32 GB of storage space. It can be expanded using an external memory card up to 128 GB.
Battery and OS
One of the aspects that give Infinix the ability to dominate the Nigeria budget market is the battery power it offers. The Infinix Hot 7 Pro has a 4000mAh battery but no fast charge technology.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 and offers no 4G connectivity.
